the Tooth of Oche

An unforgettable walking: the ascent of the Tooth of Oche ( 2221 meters in height)

If you are very a sportsman you can leave chalet, but we recommend you to leave Of the restaurant" La Fétuière " 800 meters after the chalet (the ascent on the tarred road is very hard)

The path in two departures to the restaurant of" la Fétuière, " the very forest right bank, the preferable more rocky left bank by wet weather.





Rise by the one or the other one to reachthe chalets of Oche situated in the vast high mountain pasture at feet of the " Dent d' Oche " on the left and the needles of "Darbon" on the right.

After chalets the path leaves on the left in a sloping meadow which it is necessary to climb by wide laces.







Arrived at a fork, to leave the path which leads to the pass of "Rebollion" to take that of right which leads towards the base of the chimney.Chains allow to climb the obstacle without any trouble adult before resulting under the refuge of Oche and its panoramic terrace.
To by-pass the refuge by the left and go to the edge or a cable helps in the crossing of a wide sloping paving stone.
Continue on the edge to reach the cross of the summit.
The reward is there: seen in 360 degrees on the region of the Lake Geneva, the Geneva lake and the massif of the Mont Blanc.
